Standard backgammon checker. These checkers are made with a slightly convex face and a slightly concave side. They are particularly suitable for inexpensive backgammon boards with sewn on points. The ideal set-up is with the convex face touching the playing surface, this reduces the risk of checkers catching on the edge of the points and damaging them, and allowing a fluid movement.
